SEEDS Arts and Education, Inc. annually awards funding for three students to attend a 12-week afternoon enrichment program in Art, Music, or Gardening at Anneliese Schools located
in Laguna Beach, CA. The scholarships are available to children in 1^st to 6^th grades, and that have an interest in any of the following areas of study:

• Gardening: Students will learn about organic gardening, including planting, harvesting and cooking. They will experience how various cultures worldwide use plants for food, asthetics, and medicine.
• Art: Students will create unique art using a variety of media taught by a local professional artist.
• Music: Students will be immersed in a music course that provides hands-on learning with a range of instruments, including drums, guitar and piano.

SEEDS Arts and Education is committed to the advancement of its local educational community through the funding of programs designed to improve or expand knowledge and awareness by:

• Developing or expanding a rich and comprehensive education in the areas of visual arts, music and dramatic arts
• Promoting stewardship of the land through community educational programs such as organic gardening practices, recycling, conservation and environmental awareness and protection
• Implementing or supporting educational programs whose purpose is to foster academic excellence in literacy, foreign languages, numeracy, sciences and humanities.
